ICBC, the largest bank in the world by total assets and market capitalization, was about to mark the fifth anniversary of its entry to Indonesia and wanted to create something a little different to celebrate. The Guide to Bali was designed to commemorate the milestone, a bilingual English-Mandarin publication targeting preferred mainland clients as well as customers in Indonesia. An untypical guide to the popular island, the book uncovers many fascinating cultural connections between China and Bali, and seeks to cultivate an appreciation of the islanders’ unique and precious culture.

We developed and executed all aspects of the project, from structural development through to research, writing, translation, editing, photography, design and production, subsequently adapting the content to web and mobile platforms.
